Park, Side Marker, and License Lamps
The Park, Side Marker and License Lamps are energized whenever the Headlamp Switch is in the Park Lamp or the Headlamp position. Voltage is available at all times to the Headlamp Switch from PARK LPS Fuse 9 through the BRN (240) wire. When the switch is in the Park Lamps position, this voltage is available on the BRN (9) wire. The BRN (9) wire distributes this voltage to the front Park and Turn Signal Lamps and to the front Side Marker Lamps. If the vehicle has Sealed Beam Headlamps, there is a single Park and Turn Signal Lamp and a single Side Marker Lamp on each side. If the vehicle has Composite Headlamps, there are two Park and Turn Signal Lamps (the Inner and the Outer) and a single Side Marker Lamp on each side. Grounding for the Left Front Park and Turn Signal Lamp(s) and the Left Front Side Marker Lamp is through the BLK (150) wire to Ground G108. Grounding for the Right Front Park Turn Signal Lamp(s) and the Right Front Side Marker Lamp is through the BLK (151) wire to Ground G109.
The BRN (9) wire also distributes the voltage to the four park lamp bulbs at the rear of the vehicle, to the License Lamp. and to the optional Trailer Wiring Provision Connector C406 if provided. There is a single park lamp bulb in each Taillamp and in each Park and Turn Signal Lamp. The Left Rear Taillamp and the Left Rear Park and Turn Signal Lamp are grounded by the BLK (150) wire to Ground G400. The Right Rear Taillamp, the Right Rear Park and Turn Signal Lamp, and the License Lamp are grounded by the BLK (250) wire at Ground G40l.
