Evaporator Inlet Tube

Evaporator Inlet Tube:






Remove or Disconnect

1. The negative battery cable.
2. Recover the refrigerant from the system.
3. The evaporator tube from the evaporator.
4. The O-ring seal.
5. The radiator grille.
6. The evaporator tube from the condenser.
7. The O-ring seal.
8. The evaporator tube from the auxiliary A/C evaporator underbody front tube assembly (if equipped).

Install or Connect

1. The New O-ring seal.
^ Coat the O-ring seal with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.

2. The evaporator tube to the condenser.

Tighten
^ The evaporator tube to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).

3. The radiator grille.
4. The New O-ring seal.
^ Coat the O-ring with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
5. The evaporator tube to the evaporator.

Tighten
^ The evaporator tube to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).

6. The evaporator tube to the auxiliary A/C evaporator underbody front tube assembly (if equipped).

Tighten
^ The evaporator tube to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).

7. The negative battery cable.
8. Recharge the refrigerant to the system.
^ Check the system for leaks.
