Auxiliary Power Outlet: Description and Operation

Two connectors, C206 and C302, are provided for upfitter provisions. Cavity B of each connector is hot at all times from the AUX-B Fuse through the RED (842) wire. Cavity A of each connector is hot only with the Ignition Switch in the ACCY or RUN positions via the Upfitter Provision Relay. Voltage is available at all times to the contacts of the Upfitter Provision Relay through the RED (1042) wire. When the Ignition Switch is in RUN or ACCY positions, voltage is available at the coil of the Upfitter Provision Relay through the YEL (43) wire. Since the relay's coil is grounded to Ground 0201 through the BLK (150) wire, the relay energizes. Its contacts close to apply voltage to the connectors through the RED (1042) wires. Cavity D of connectors C206 and C302 is a grounding connection to Ground G106.
