W/O Passenger SIR

Description:

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System.
2. Remove the passenger knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Passenger Knee Bolster Panel in Instrument Panel and Gauges.
3. Remove the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) from the inflatable restraint IP trim cover harness connector.
4. Disconnect the inflatable restraint IP trim cover pigtail connector (4).
5. Remove the inflatable restraint IP trim cover mounting fasteners (3).
6. Remove the inflatable restraint IP trim cover (2) from the IP carrier (1).
