Power Steering Pump Brace

Steering Pump Brace (4.3L, 5.0L And 5.7L):

Steering Pump Brace (7.4L):

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. The power steering pump from the vehicle.
2. The retaining nuts and bolts from the vehicle.
3. The brace from the back side of the pump.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. The brace to the back side of the pump.
2. The retaining nuts and bolts to the vehicle.

Tighten
^ The steering pump brace retaining nut to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
^ The steering pump brace retaining bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

3. The steering pump from the vehicle.
