Cigar Lighter

The Cigarette Lighter assembly is powered at all times from CIG LTR Fuse 13 through the ORN (640) wire. It is grounded by the BLK (150) wire at Ground G201. When the removable element is inserted and depressed, electrical connection is made which allows current flow through the element's resistance. This produces beat and thermal expansion. When the element reaches temperature, the element is automatically released. This stops the current flow and allows the element to begin to cool. Manually holding the element in the depressed position can damage the element.
