Alternate Headlamp Aiming Procedure

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 25300-E Headlamp Aimer

1. Ensure that the components are in place if other work has been done on the vehicle.
2. Ensure that the vehicle is on a level surface.
3. Stop all other work on the vehicle.
4. Ensure that the vehicle has half a tank, or less, of fuel.
5. Close all of the doors.
6. Rock the vehicle sideways.
7. Using the J 25300-E, adjust the headlamps to the specifications required by state and local authorities.
