Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE


1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate filler.
2. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
3. Remove the instrument panel lower extension upper trim panel.
4. Remove the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel.
5. Remove the instrument panel passenger knee bolster.
6. Remove the instrument panel upper trim panel.
7. Remove the instrument panel assist handle.
8. Remove the bolts that retain the instrument panel upper trim pad to the instrument panel carrier.
9. Remove the nuts that retain the left outside duct to the instrument panel upper trim pad.
10. Remove the instrument panel upper trim pad from the instrument panel carrier.
11. Remove the instrument panel upper trim pad from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE


1. Install the instrument panel upper trim pad to the vehicle.
2. Position the instrument panel upper trim pad to the instrument panel carrier.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the bolts that retain the instrument panel upper trim pad to the instrument panel carrier.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the nuts that retain the air duct to the instrument panel upper trim pad.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

5. Install the instrument panel assist handle.
6. Install the instrument panel upper trim panel.
7. Install the instrument panel passenger knee bolster.
8. Install the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel.
9. Install the instrument panel lower extension upper trim panel.
10. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
11. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate filler.
