ENABLING THE SIR SYSTEMS

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" position and remove key.





2. The CPA and yellow 2-way connector at the passenger's inflator module, if equipped.
3. The passenger's knee bolster, if equipped with passenger inflator module. Refer to "Body and Trim".





4. The CPA and yellow 2-way connector at the base of the steering column.
5. The driver's knee bolster. Refer to "Body and Trim".





6. The "AIR BAG" fuse to the fuse block.
7. Staying well away from both air bags, turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Verify that the "AIR BAG" warning lamp flashes 7 times and then stays off. If the "AIR BAG" warning lamp does not operate as described, Refer to "Powertrain Management".
