Generator Replacement - Auxiliary

REMOVAL PROCEDURE






1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the upper fan shroud.
3. Remove the serpentine belt from the generator.
4. Remove the generator bracket from the vehicle.
5. Remove the nut and battery cable from the generator.
6. Remove the electrical connector from the generator.






7. Remove the generator brace from the vehicle.
8. Remove the generator from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE






1. Install the generator to the vehicle.






2. Install the generator brace to the vehicle.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the generator.
4. Install the nut and battery cable to the generator.
5. Install the generator bracket to the vehicle.
6. Install the serpentine belt to the generator.
7. Install the upper fan shroud.
8. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Cable Replacement (Battery Disconnect/Connect). Service and Repair
