Troubleshooting Hints
1. CHECK condition of HTD MIR Fuse 2 and HTR-A/C Fuse 12. If either fuse is open, LOCATE and REPAIR cause of overload and REPLACE fuse.2. CHECK that Ground G201 is clean and tight. CHECK also that Ground G200 is clean and tight for RV Upfitter Provisions.
3. If Power Outside Rearview Mirror heating elements operate but the Heater and A/C Controller indicating lamp does not illuminate, REPLACE Heater and A/C Controller for bad LED.
4. If Heater and A/C Controller Heated Mirror indicating lamp does not extinguish after a nominal 10 minute time delay, then replace Heater and A/C Controller.
5. Refer to Interior Lamps Dimming for diagnosis of illumination lamps at Heater and A/C Controller. Testing and Inspection
^ CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove GOOD in a Continuity/Voltage check with a system disconnected. These Circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a Voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ CHECK for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,"). Diagnostic Aids
