Troubleshooting Hints
1. CHECK condition of WIPER Fuse 11. If Fuse is open, LOCATE and REPAIR cause of overload and REPLACE the Fuse.2. CHECK that Ground G201 is clean and tight.
3. CHECK that the windshield wipers are properly installed and unrestricted in operation. Correct any mechanical problems prior to performing electrical diagnosis.
4. If the wipers do not operate in one or more of speeds (other than high) but operates in other speeds (other than high). then REPLACE the Multi-Function Lever.
^ CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove GOOD in a Continuity/Voltage check with a system disconnected. These Circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a Voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ CHECK for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
