Oil Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the oil pan.





2. Remove the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Removal.
3. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Oil Pump Clean and Inspect

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Use a NEW oil pump driveshaft retainer.





1. Install the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Installation.





2. Install the oil pan.
