Mirrors: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the trim panel upper extension.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.




3. Remove the nuts securing the outside mirror to the door.
4. Unsnap the mirror. Remove the mirror from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the outside mirror to the door. Snap the mirror into place.




2. Connect the electrical connector.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the nuts in order to secure the outside mirror to the door.

Tighten
Tighten the outside rearview mirror nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Install the trim panel upper extension.
