Steering Column Jacket - Assemble

ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

- Tools Required
- J 23653-SIR Lock Plate Compressor





1. Install the thrust washer (3).
2. Install the upper bearing spring (2).
3. Lubricate the turn signal cancel cam assembly (1) with synthetic grease and install.





4. Install the shaft lock shield assembly.





5. Install the bearing retainer using J 23653-SIR.
6. Install the SIR coil assembly.
