Remote CD Player Replacement (Floor Console Mounted)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the screws and the trim bezel.




3. Use a small screwdriver in order to release the CD player retainers.
4. Slide the CD player out. Disconnect the electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the CD player.
3. When the CD player is fully seated, snap the unit into the retainers.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.




4. Install the trim bezel and the screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Verify the component operation.
