HVAC System - Manual

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
3. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
4. Remove the HVAC module.
5. Disconnect the air inlet actuator electrical connection (1).




6. Remove the air inlet valve mounting screws




7. Remove the air inlet actuator.
8. Remove the air inlet valve.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air inlet valve.
2. Install the air inlet actuator.




3. Install the air inlet valve mounting screws.




4. Connect the air inlet actuator electrical connection (1).
5. Install the HVAC module.
7. Refill the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
8. Recharge the air conditioning system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
