REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel hush panel.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower relay/resistor (6).




3. Remove the blower motor insulating cover screws.
4. Disconnect the blower relay/resistor electrical connector from the blower motor.
5. Remove the blower motor insulating cover.
6. Pull the retaining tab down while turning the blower motor counter-clockwise in order to disengage the retaining tab from the HVAC module.




7. Remove the blower motor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the blower motor




2. Install the blower motor to the HVAC module.
Turn the blower assembly clockwise until the retaining tab locks into place.
3. Install the blower motor insulating cover.




4. Connect the blower relay/resistor electrical connector to the blower motor (6).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the blower motor insulating cover screws.

Tighten
Tighten the blower motor insulating cover screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

6. Connect the electrical connector to the blower resistor.
7. Install the instrument panel hush panel.
