Exhaust Manifold Replacement (Right Side)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (Diesel) in Exhaust System.
2. Disconnect the oxygen sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Powertrain Managements.
4. Remove the bolt for the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement.
5. Remove the exhaust manifold bolts.
6. Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Removal (Right).
7. Clean all sealing surfaces. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Clean and Inspect.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Removal (Right).
2. Install the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement.
3. Install the air cleaner assembly.
4. Install the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement in Exhaust System.
5. Connect the oxygen sensor electrical connector.
