1. External Component Disassemble

1. Use a solvent and a stiff brush to clean the transfer case exterior.
2. Remove the following components from the front output shaft:
- The front output yoke nut
- The washer
- The rubber sealing washer
- The front output yoke

3. Remove the four-wheel drive actuator switch and the O-ring seal.
4. Remove the vehicle speed sensor and the O-ring seal.





5. Remove the following components:
5.1. The detent plug
5.2. The O-ring seal
5.3. The detent spring
5.4. The detent plunger
