Fuel Pump Control Unit: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.




1. Make sure that the module and the electrical connectors are wiped clean with a shop towel prior to removal.




2. Disconnect both of the fuel tank balance module electrical connectors.




3. Remove the fuel tank balance module mounting bolts.
4. Remove the balance module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the new balance module using both of the bolts.




2. Install both of the balance module electrical connectors.




3. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
