The OFF/ON Function

The cruise control system can not be engaged when the OFF-ON-R/A switch is in the OFF position. When the cruise control switch is in the ON position, the system may be engaged at any speed above approximately 40 km/h (25 mph).

The accelerator may be depressed at any time in order to override the cruise control system. Release of the accelerator will return to the previously set cruise speed.
