Oil Pump: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the oil pan.
2. Remove the oil pump.
3. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Oil Pump Clean and Inspect.

Installation Procedure

Important: Install a NEW oil pump driveshaft retainer.





1. Install the oil pump.
2. Install the oil pan.
