REMOVAL PROCEDURE






1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle with safety stands. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.

IMPORTANT: Remove the parts from the right front and the left front of the vehicle. Keep the parts separated.

3. Remove the link bolt nut.
4. Remove the insulator.
5. Remove the link bolt from the lower control arm.
6. Remove the spacer.
7. Remove the insulator.
8. Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts.
9. Remove the stabilizer shaft brackets.
10. Remove the stabilizer shaft.
11. Remove the stabilizer shaft rubber bushings.
12. Inspect all of the parts for wear or damage.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE






1. Install the insulators to the stabilizer shaft. Face the slit in the insulator forward.
2. Install the stabilizer shaft to the frame and to the lower control arm.
3. Install the brackets to the rubber bushings.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts.
- Tighten the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the insulator to the link bolt.
6. Install the link bolt through the stabilizer bolt holes.
7. Install the spacer.
8. Install the link bolt through the lower control arm with the parts stacked properly.
9. Install the insulator.
10. Install the link bolt nut.
- Tighten the link bolt nut to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
11. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
12. Lower the vehicle.
