Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Head Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the air dryer from the automatic level control air compressor. Refer to Automatic Level Control Air Dryer Replacement.
2. Remove the wiring terminals B and C (1) from the automatic level control air compressor electrical connector.
3. Remove the automatic level control air compressor head retaining bolts.
4. Remove the automatic level control air compressor head (2) from the compressor.
5. Remove the Oaring (3) from the automatic level control air compressor.
6. Remove the automatic level control air compressor head wires from the conduit and the tie straps.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Route the automatic level control air compressor head wires through the tie strap and the conduit.
2. Install the Oaring (3) to the automatic level control air compressor.
3. Install the automatic level control air compressor head (2) to the compressor.





NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the automatic level control air compressor head retaining bolts.
- Tighten the automatic level control air compressor head bolts to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
5. Install the wiring to the B and the C (1) terminals on the automatic level control air compressor electrical connector.
6. Install the air dryer to the automatic level control air compressor. Refer to Automatic Level Control Air Dryer Replacement.
