Rear Door Window Glass: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURECAUTION: To prevent personal injury, gloves should be worn when removing broken glass.
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Remove the stationary window assembly.
4. Remove the weatherstrip.
5. Remove the rear window run channel.
6. Push the window rearward.
7. Rotate the window in order to release the window sash channel from the regulator rollers.
8. Remove the window from the regulator by disengaging the retaining clip.
9. Remove the window from the door (1).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Move the regulator to the half-way down position in order to locate the front roller.
2. Install the window into the door (1).
3. Install the window to the regulator by engaging the retaining clip.
4. Insert the window sash channel into the rear roller.
5. Level the glass.
Slide the glass forward into the front roller.
6. Lift the window lightly by hand in order to inspect the alignment of the window.
The window should feel stationary.
7. Install the rear window run channel.
8. Install the weatherstrip.
9. Install the stationary window assembly.
10. Install the water deflector.
11. Install the door trim panel.
