PasslockTM System Components

The Passlock (TM) System is designed in order to deter vehicle theft by disabling the fuel injection system unless the following actions occur:
- The key correctly engages the ignition lock cylinder.
- The BCM sends a Glass 2 serial data password to the PCM/VCM that is identical to the last learned password.

The Passlock (TM) system is composed of the following components:
- The Passlock (TM) sensor
- The Ignition Lock Cylinder
- The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)
- The Body Control Module (BCM)
- The Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/ Vehicle Control Module (VCM)
