Check Gauges

The check gauges telltale is a LED display located in the IPC. The check gauges telltale is operated by the PC with software control. The check gauges telltale turns ON for 3 seconds when the ignition switch is turned to the RUN position. When the engine is running the IPC is constantly monitoring the engine coolant temperature information provided over the Class 2 serial data bus by the VCM/PCM, the engine oil pressure which is a direct feed from the oil pressure sensor to the IPC. The IPC will turn the check gauges telltale LED ON if the engine coolant temperature gets too high or the engine oil pressure gets too low.
