Inside Air Temperature Sensor Replacement (Floor)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disable the driver side airbag. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove the left IP closeout insulator panel.
3. Remove the center closeout insulator panel bolt on the left side.
4. Pull back the closeout insulator panel in order to access the temperature sensor.
5. Remove the inside air temperature sensor by turning the sensor counterclockwise from the floor air outlet.
6. Disconnect the air temperature sensor harness from the sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the air temperature sensor harness to the sensor.
2. Install the inside air temperature sensor by turning the sensor clockwise to the floor air outlet.
3. Install the center closeout insulator panel bolt on the left side.
4. Install the left IP closeout insulator panel.
5. Enable the driver side airbag. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
