Headlamp Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Turn Off the headlamp switch.
2. Open the hood.
3. Remove the screw that retains the headlamp capsule to the composite headlamp.




4. Remove the three bolts that retain the composite headlamp.
5. Remove the headlamp.
6. Disconnect the headlamp electrical connectors.
7. Remove the headlamp bulbs.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the headlamp bulbs.
2. Connect the headlamp electrical connectors.
3. Install the headlamp assembly.
4. Install the bolts in order to retain the composite headlamp.

Tighten
Tighten the composite headlamp bolts to 12.5 N.m (110 lb in).




5. Install the headlamp capsule.
6. Install the headlamp capsule screw.

Tighten
Tighten the headlamp capsule screw to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

7. Close the hood.
