Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Circuit Description

The power door locks/remote control door lock receiver system allows the driver to operate the vehicle door locks. The driver can operate the door lock from the outside of the vehicle. The driver uses a hand-held radio transmitter. The transmitter operates in the UHF band. The transmitter sends coded signals to the remote control door lock receiver. The remote control door lock receiver detects and decodes the signal. The remote control door lock receiver issues signals in order to control the following locks:
^ The front doors
^ The side doors
^ The rear door

These Systems also operate in the usual manner. The door locks will respond to the power door lock switches. For more information on the operation of the liftgate release system refer to the Schematics in Body Rear End.
