60. Intake Manifold Assemble - Upper with RPO 9C2

1. Install the throttle body studs, if removed.
^ Tighten the throttle body studs to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).





2. Install the NEW throttle body gasket.





3. Install the throttle body.





4. Install the throttle position bracket for the governor.





5. Align the slot in the throttle position bracket for the governor with the throttle body pin.





6. Ensure correct placement of the slot in the throttle position bracket for the governor with the pin on the throttle body.





7. Install the throttle body nuts.
^ Tighten the throttle body nuts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
8. Install the NEW EGR gasket





9. Install the EGR valve.
10. Install the EGR valve bolts.
10.1. Tighten the EGR valve bolts a first pass to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
10.2. Tighten the EGR valve bolts a final pass to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).





11. Install the EVAP purge solenoid valve.
12. Install the EVAP purge solenoid valve bolts.
^ Tighten the EVAP purge solenoid valve bolts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).





13. Install the secondary air injection check valve bracket stud (without RPO K19), if removed.
^ Tighten the secondary air injection check valve bracket stud to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
14. Install the ECT wiring harness connector bracket, if removed.





15. Install the ECT wiring harness connector bracket bolt.
^ Tighten the ECT wiring harness connector bracket bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
16. Install the accelerator control cable bracket, if removed.





17. Install the accelerator control cable bracket bolts.
^ Tighten the accelerator control cable bracket bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
