A/T Shift Lock Control - Disassemble

DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
1. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Trim Covers, Shift Lever Seal - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.

IMPORTANT: Using excessive force in removing the electrical BTSI actuator from the steering column may cause damage.





2. Remove the electrical brake transmission system interlock actuator from the steering column.
3. Use a small screwdriver to pry the electrical brake transmission system interlock actuator from the steering column jacket assembly.
