Keyless Entry

The remote control door lock receiver replaces the illuminated entry module for vehicles equipped with remote keyless entry. The remote control door lock receiver provides the lamps-off delay when all of the doors close, as described in Illuminated Entry Module above. The remote control door lock receiver also turns on the dome lamps and the optional stepwell lamps when the vehicle's doors unlock remotely. the lamps remain lighted for approximately 40 seconds or until the ignition switch is in the RUN position or in the START position.

The remote control door lock receiver has voltage available at all times from the PWR ACCY fuse A through CKT 540 (ORN). The remote control door lock receiver has ground by CKT 150 (BLK) at ground G201 or ground G200 (upfitter provisions). The remaining interior lighting circuits operate in the same manner as the illuminated entry module.
