Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble

Assembly Procedure

Tools Required
- J 41352Modular Column Holding Fixture





1. Install the shroud protector (1) to the lower shroud (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the upper shroud (2) and secure by using 1 TORX(R) head screw (1).
- Tighten the screw to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).





3. Install the lower shroud (1) and secure by using 2 pan head tapping screws (2).
- Tighten the screws to 3.5 Nm (31 inch lbs.).





4. Take the column out from J 41352.
