Door Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the window glass.
3. Remove the inside door handle.
4. Remove the outside door handle.
5. Remove the door lock actuator.
6. Remove the weatherstrip from the door.
7. Disconnect the door wire harness.




8. Remove the door check link bolt from the pillar side.
9. Remove the bolts from the upper and the lower door hinges.
10. With an assistant lift the door up from the hinge pins and remove the door from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. With an assistant install the door to the vehicle by setting the door down on the hinge pins.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the screws to the upper and the lower door hinges.

Tighten
Tighten the upper and lower bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the door check link bolt to the pillar side.

Tighten
Tighten the door check link bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).




4. Connect the door wire harness.
5. Install the rear door weatherstrip.
6. Install the door lock actuator.
7. Install the outside door handle.
8. Install the inside door handle.
9. Install the window glass.
10. Install the door trim panel.
11. Inspect the alignment of the door. Refer to Door Adjustment.
