Front Bumper Replacement (Swept Back Bumper)

Removal Procedure

1. Support the bumper.




2. Remove the lower bolts, the washers, and the nuts that are holding the bumper to the brackets or the extension.




3. Remove the upper bolts, the washers and the nuts.
4. Remove the bumper from the brackets.

Installation Procedure

1. Support the bumper.




2. Install the upper bolts, the washers, and the nuts through the bumper to the brackets or the extension.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the lower bolts, the washers, and the nuts that attach the bumper to the brackets or the extension.

* Tighten the bumper nuts to 90 Nm (66 lb ft).
* Tighten the bumper extension nuts to 24 Nm (18 lb ft).
* Tighten the bumper bracket bolts to 183 Nm (134 lb ft).
