Grille Replacement (Radiator Support Mounted)

Removal Procedure




1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the bolts retaining the following components to the radiator support:

* The grille
* The brackets

3. Remove following components from the radiator support:

* The grille
* The brackets

4. Remove the bolts retaining the grille to the brackets.




5. Remove the emblem nut from the back of the grille.
6. Remove the emblem from the grille, if required.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Use the nuts in order to install the emblem to the grille.

Tighten the emblem to grille nuts to 2 Nm (18 lb in).




2. Install the grille to the brackets.
3. Install the grille to bracket bolts into the bracket pierce nuts.

Tighten the grille to bracket bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).

4. Install the grille and bracket assembly to the radiator support.
5. Install the bolts through the brackets and into the support weld nuts.

Tighten the grille bracket to support bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

6. Close the hood.
