Mirrors: Description and Operation

Heated Mirror Circuit Description

CKT 441 (BRN) supplies voltage to the IGN 3 relay when the ignition switch is in the RUN position. Voltage is also applied to the IGN 3 relay from a 40 amp fuse located in the Underhood Fuse block. The CKT 442 (RED) is hot at all times.

When the ignition switch is in the RUN position, current is applied to the IGN 3 relay. Current is applied from the relay to the 20 Amp AXLE circuit breaker located in the IP fuse block. Current goes to the heated motor switch from the IP fuse block. When the heated mirror switch is ON, current flows to the heated mirrors.
