Interior Lights

The DOME/PANEL circuit breaker provides voltage to the dome lamp. The left door jamb switch or the IP lamp dimmer switch provides the ground. The dome lamp illuminates if the door jamb switch or the dimmer switch complete the circuit by providing a path to ground.

Cigar Lighter

The CIG/AUX circuit breaker provides voltage to the cigar lighter and to the auxiliary power connector, if equipped. The cigar lighter operates when the lighter is pushed in. Pushing in the lighter completes the ground path in the cigar lighter circuit and causes current to flow through the cigar lighter heating element. The cigar lighter heating element disengages from power and partially ejects when the heating element reaches operating temperature.
