Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement Service and Repair in Body Front End.
2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling Cooling System Draining and Filling.
3. Remove the radiator inlet hose support clamp from the radiator fan shroud.




4. Remove the radiator inlet hose (2) and the clamp (4) from the radiator.
5. Remove the radiator inlet hose and the clamp from the coolant outlet.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the radiator inlet hose and the clamp to the coolant outlet.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the radiator inlet hose (2) and the clamp (4) to the radiator.

Tighten the clamps to 5 Nm (44 lb in).

3. Install the radiator inlet support hose clamp to the radiator fan shroud.
4. Install the front wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement Service and Repair in Body Front End.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling Cooling System Draining and Filling.
6. Inspect the system for leaks.
