Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement Service and Repair in Body Front End.




2. Remove the front intake air duct (1) from the air filter housing.
3. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling Cooling System Draining and Filling.




4. Remove the radiator outlet hose and the clamp (3, 4) from the radiator.
5. Remove the radiator outlet hose (3) and the clamp (4) from the water pump.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lower radiator hose (3) and the clamp (4) to the water pump.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the radiator outlet hose (3) and the clamp (4) to the radiator.

Tighten the clamps to 5 Nm (44 lb in).




3. Install the front air intake duct (1) to the air filter housing.
4. Install the front wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement Service and Repair in Body Front End.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling Cooling System Draining and Filling.
6. Inspect the system for leaks.
