Turn Signal Cancel Cam & Bearing Thrust Washer - Disassemble - Export

- J 23653-SIR Lock Plate Compressor

Important: Let the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil hang freely after removal.





1. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Floor shift Export) or Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Column shift Export).
2. Compress the shaft lock shield assembly (2) using J 23653-SIR.
3. Remove the bearing retainer (1) from the steering shaft assembly.
4. Discard the bearing retainer (1).
5. Remove J 23653-SIR from the steering shaft assembly.





6. Remove the following parts from the steering shaft assembly:
6.1. The shaft lock shield assembly (4).
6.2. The turn signal cancel cam assembly (3).
6.3. The upper bearing spring (2).
6.4. The thrust washer (1).
