Endgate Replacement (Pickup)

Removal Procedure





1. Lower the endgate (3) to a horizontal position.
2. Pull up on the middle of the cable assembly.
3. With the aid of an assistant, raise the endgate 45 degrees.
4. Remove the cable (7) on each side from the side panel striker bolts.
5. Remove the endgate (3) from the right side hinge assembly.
6. With the aid of an assistant, remove the left hinge assembly.



Installation Procedure





1. With the aid of an assistant, install the endgate.
2. Install the endgate (3) to the side panel hinge assemblies holding the gate at a 45 degree angle.




3. Install the cable on each side onto the side panel striker bolts (5).
