Rear Spring Bushing Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the spring assembly. Refer to Leaf Spring Replacement (All Single Rear Wheels) or Leaf Spring Replacement (All Dual Rear Wheels-Except C3500HD) or Leaf Spring Replacement (Dual Rear Wheels-C3500HD).
2. Remove the bushing from the leaf spring as follows:
2.1. Place the leaf spring in a press. Press the bushing out.
2.2. Clean the spring bushing bore of any foreign material or old bushing.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the bushing to the leaf spring. Place the leaf spring in a press. Press the bushing in.
2. Install the spring assembly. Refer to Leaf Spring Replacement (All Single Rear Wheels) or Leaf Spring Replacement (All Dual Rear Wheels-Except C3500HD) or Leaf Spring Replacement (Dual Rear Wheels-C3500HD).
