Drive Belt Replacement (A/C)

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Accessory) or Drive Belt Replacement (A/C).
2. Rotate the air conditioning (A/C) drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to relieve the belt tension.





3. Remove the A/C drive belt.
4. Clean the A/C drive belt pulley grooves.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the A/C drive belt over the balancer pulley.
2. Rotate the A/C belt tensioner clockwise to install the belt.
3. Install the belt onto the A/C compressor and tensioner pulleys.
4. Inspect the drive belt to ensure that the belt is properly aligned to the grooves of the pulleys.
5. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Accessory) or Drive Belt Replacement (A/C).
