Leading/Trailing Drum Brakes

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the linings. Refer to Brake Lining Replacement.
2. Remove the wheel cylinder. Refer to Wheel Cylinder Replacement.





3. Remove the bolts.
4. Remove the washers.
5. Remove the backing plate.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the backing plate.
2. Install the washers.
3. Install the bolts.
4. Install the wheel cylinder. Refer to Wheel Cylinder Replacement.
5. Install the Linings. Refer to Brake Lining Replacement.
6. Install the adjust brakes. Refer to Drum Brake Adjustment.
7. Bleed the brakes. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding.
