Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the [1][2]EVAP vent hose (3), if equipped, from the EVAP canister (4).
2. Remove the EVAP vent valve (6), if equipped, from the canister bracket.
3. Disconnect the purge pipe (2) and the pipe to the fuel tank (7) from the canister.
4. Remove the mounting bracket nut.
5. Rotate the canister in order to remove it from the bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the canister into the mounting bracket.
2. Install the canister bracket nut.
3. Connect the purge pipe (2) and pipe to the fuel tank (7) to the canister.
4. Install the EVAP vent valve (6), if equipped, to the canister bracket.
5. Connect the [1][2]EVAP vent hose (3), if equipped, to the EVAP canister (4).
