Steering Shaft, Lower Bearing & Jacket - Disassemble

Disassembly Procedure





1. Remove the lock module assembly. Refer to Electronic Column Lock Module - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Floor Shift).Service and Repair
2. Remove the turn signal. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Floor Shift).Service and Repair
3. Remove the steering column seal (3).
4. Remove the adapter and bearing assembly (2).
5. Remove the steering shaft (1).





6. Remove the 4 TORX(R) head screws (1) from the steering column support assembly (2).
7. Discard the 4 TORX(R) head screws (1).
8. Remove the steering column support assembly (2) from the steering column jacket assembly (3).
