TEST DESCRIPTION
This procedure is for diagnosing problems with the OnStar(R) button assembly. The following numbers refer to the steps in the table.
3. Determines if the OnStar(R) button assembly has the necessary keypad signal circuit.
5. If the keypad signal is shorted to voltage then the OnStar(R) three button assembly has been damaged. The OnStar(R) three button assembly has to be replaced.
